The Seminar-Workshop on Amplifying, Collaborating and Advocating Peace is a component of Project YACAP (Youth Amplifying, Co-creating, and Advocating Peace), an extension project of the College of Arts and Social Sciences implemented in partnership with the US Embassy in Manila. The project, which aims to promote youth participation in peace building to increase youth resiliency against radicalism and violent extremism, will gather 30 youth from Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Marawi City, and Iligan who are directly or indirectly affected by the Marawi Siege and 9 young professionals who will serve as mentors.
