As rapid urbanization continues, there is an urgent need to bridge research gaps and develop climate-responsive solutions that enhance urban livability while mitigating environmental risks. Hosted by the Energy-Environment Interaction Laboratory, this session will feature a special lecture by a globally recognized expert in urban climate and energy research. The discussion will highlight innovative strategies, including green infrastructure, climate-responsive urban planning, and policy interventions, to create more sustainable and adaptive cities. This session promises to provide valuable insights for engineers, urban planners, policymakers, and researchers working toward sustainable and resilient cities.
